Does it fit my neck?
PIRRA Balans is designed to fit virtually any neck. The U-shaped frame is soft and flexible and bends to sit comfortably, whether your neck is narrow or wider. The four EMS pads sit behind your ears and at the top of your neck, just below the hairline. Most people get it to sit right on the first try, with no adjustment needed.
If you have recently had neck surgery, a fused cervical vertebra or an active skin condition on your neck – talk to your doctor before using it. For everyone else: yes, it fits.
How do I use it?
Three steps. That's it.
1. Place it around your neck with the four pads sitting behind your ears and at the top of your neck.
2. Press the power button, choose your EMS intensity (start at level 3 or 4 and go up if you like) and choose your heat setting.
3. Sit back for 15 minutes. The device shuts off on its own.
Use it once a day, or whenever you want to unwind. Most people use it in the evening in an armchair or on the couch. You don't need to do anything else – no exercises, no programs, no appointments.
Can I use it if I take medication?
PIRRA Balans is a device you use on the outside of your skin. It works on the muscles in your neck and isn't taken into the body like a medication.
One important exception: do not use PIRRA Balans if you have a pacemaker, an implanted defibrillator or any other active implanted electronic device. If you are pregnant or have recently had neck surgery, talk to your doctor first. How soon will I notice a difference?
